Mentoring

We partner New Americans and English language learning adults/families with American mentors for weekly, 1-on-1, in-home support.

Think Big Brother, Big Sister, but for immigrants.

 Resettlement

We are proud to welcome approximately 60 individuals to our community year. We also have a full-time case worker devoted to helping Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolees who have sought safety here form war. Families receive help with achieving integration and self-sufficiency goals like enrolling in school, finding work, and staying healthy.

Advocacy

Sometimes life in the US doesn't go as planned. We work closely with community partners, local service providers, the state of North Dakota, schools, and others to ensure that our families receive the same quality of services as everyone else in Bismarck.

Public Events

"No man is an island." Neither are community groups. We work hard to educate the wider community, and to celebrate together at frequent events, potlucks, talks, and trainings throughout the year.

If you are interested in hosting an event or a training, please email our executive director at director@bismarckglobalneighbors.org
